The rape of two teenage girls in Badaun might not have been a rape after all

It is now a problem for the CBI on how they will resolve the apparent contradictions between the latest forensic conclusions and the earlier post-mortem performed by the local authorities. India's Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) examined the clothes and personal effects of the girls and reported that it did not find any proof of sexual assault. Moreover, sources in the CDFD have revealed that there was no male DNA found on the clothes and personal effects of the girls and, simultaneously, there was no female DNA on the samples taken from the male suspects.
