Chinese police shoot dead three knife wielding Xinjiang terrorists

Terrorism knows no boundaries and this was proven when police in the north-eastern Chinese city of Shenyang shot dead three "knife-wielding" men who are believed to be Xinjiang terrorists. A woman was also injured in the raid.
This has been reported in bbc.com dated 14 July 2015.
Xinjiang province is home to a significant Muslim Uighur population and there have been several clashes and public attacks in recent years. The police have attributed these to terrorists. The latest incident was one of the few such clashes outside of Xinjiang.
China has a tight leash on information on attacks and alleged terrorist incidents, hence it is difficult to verify such reports. In March 2014 there was a stabbing spree in Kunming city in which 29 people were killed – it was blamed on Xinjiang separatists.
Similarly, for an incident of October 2013 when a car ploughed into a crowd and burst into flames in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.
It may be noted that rights groups have accused China of persecution and torture of the Uighur minority and China has rejected all such claims.
